Adam Berkland

Adam Berkland's practice covers a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters. He regularly advises emerging growth companies through each stage of the company's life cycle, including initial company formation and early-stage commercial agreements, equity and convertible debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Adam also assists in the firm's health care practice—including health care joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating and preparing other commercial contracts with and for providers—as well as the firm's intellectual property and technology practice—advising startup clients on software licensing, privacy law and other e-commerce matters. In each of these areas of practice, addressing issues of data ownership, use and privacy is often at the top of the client’s “to do” list.
